Tink Customs Is Live, Welcome to the Workshop

After plenty of time in the workshop, the doors are finally open.

Tink Customs is now live at tinkcustoms.com, bringing together our motorcycle builds, cafe racer projects, time-lapse videos, workshop tips, and the tools and resources that go along with building and riding old bikes.

This site has been a long time coming. The idea behind Tink Customs is pretty simple: document the bikes, the builds, the mistakes, the fixes, and all the little things that happen along the way.

The Projects

The heart of Tink Customs is the motorcycles.

You'll find everything from Honda CB750s and BMW K-series bikes to Kawasaki and Moto Guzzi builds, with individual project pages following each bike as it comes together.

Some are complete builds. Others are still very much works in progress. That's intentional. Building an old motorcycle rarely follows a perfectly straight line, and we're interested in showing the process rather than just the finished photograph.

The Videos

We're also building out the Tink Customs YouTube channel with build videos, workshop projects and time-lapse builds.

The time-lapse projects are a particularly fun way to see an entire motorcycle transform from a tired old bike into something completely different.

And there will be plenty more to come as new projects roll into the workshop.

The Workshop

The Workshop section is where we're collecting the practical stuff.

There are already motorcycle workshop tips covering some of the jobs and techniques that come up repeatedly when working on older bikes, with more resources, tools, wiring information, parts and practical guides being added over time.

The goal isn't to pretend there's only one right way to build a motorcycle. It's to share what we've learned along the way — including the solutions that worked, the ones that didn't, and the occasional "well, that wasn't supposed to happen."

Just Getting Started

Although the website is now live, Tink Customs is very much a work in progress.

More motorcycle projects will be added, more videos will appear on the channel, and the Workshop will continue to grow as we document more builds.

So if you're into old motorcycles, cafe racers, custom builds, garage projects or simply enjoy seeing how a motorcycle gets from "what have I bought?" to "actually, this might work", welcome to the workshop.
