Stratos Replica Kit Car, Race Cars, Engine Swaps & Rat Rods
Tink Customs is mostly about motorcycles, but apparently that wasn't enough. This is where the four-wheeled madness lives — from building a Lister Bell Stratos replica and taking a Chevrolet-powered Porsche 944 race car to the track, to turning a 1961 Bel Air into a resto rat rod and attempting to build the world's fastest bumper car.
Additional Motor Madness on Four Wheels
These projects cover kit cars, classic cars, race cars, engine swaps, custom fabrication, electrical work, restoration, modification and a healthy amount of experimentation. Some are finished, some are still being driven, and some are currently waiting for their next chapter.
Different cars, different challenges, same Tink Customs approach:
Build it. Break it. Fix it. Drive it.

What's it really like to own and drive a Lister Bell Stratos? After years building this incredible Alfa Romeo Busso V6-powered Stratos replica, it's finally time to enjoy it.
CHEVY PORSCHE RACECAR
What started as a Nissan 300ZX being converted from fuel injection to carburetion eventually turned into something considerably more ambitious: a Chevrolet-powered Porsche 944 built for the race track.
BEL AIR RAT ROD
I won this one on eBay by mistake. Fortunately, it turned out to be a pretty good mistake. When the 1961 Bel Air arrived, it wasn't actually in bad shape. It drove, it stopped, and someone had already taken care of some of the expensive mechanical work.
WORLD'S FASTEST BUMPER CAR'
How do you turn a fairground bumper car into a 200 km/h race car? That was the question behind one of the more ridiculous — and potentially dangerous — projects at Tink Customs.
