DIY Custom Motorcycle LED Tail Light | Cafe Racer

Custom motorcycle parts don't always need to start life as motorcycle parts.

In this project, an old piece of hardware is repurposed into a completely custom LED motorcycle tail light, demonstrating how a little creativity and fabrication can produce something unique without spending a fortune.

The build uses an LED light strip mounted into the frame, with Perspex (plexiglass) used to create the lens. The finished light is fitted beneath the seat cowling to give the rear of the motorcycle a clean, minimal appearance.

It's a good example of the kind of thinking that can make a custom motorcycle build interesting — looking at what you already have, rather than automatically buying another aftermarket part.

The video covers mounting the LED strip, making and fitting the Perspex lens, adapting the old part, positioning the light under the seat and testing the finished installation.
